The promising young soprano Anne-Louise Klaus most recently
appeared onstage as a featured soloist in New England Light Opera’s production
of By Strauss!. She has further portrayed Pamina in
Intermezzo’s production of Die Zauberflöte, Despina in Così
fan tutte with the NY Opera Studio, and Lucy in The Telephone with
Opera By the Bay. Other favorite roles
she has performed include Susanna in Le nozze di Figaro and Lauretta in Gianni
Schicchi. In 2005, she recorded the

Ms. Klaus is active as a recitalist, particularly of Finnish
song. She has performed most recently as the special guest at the New York
